There are many stories about Arizona’s trek to statehood and beyond that are waiting to be told through Cochise County’s early residents. Do you have a grandparent who homesteaded in a valley here? A great-aunt or uncle who worked on Ft. Huachuca? Is there a quiet story that a family friend has told throughout the years that deserves to be captured for future generations?
This website is the place to commemorate Arizona’s Centennial by sharing the stories and photographs of people who made a difference in the development of our county and state.
Click here to upload your story via email*. Be sure to include the Honoree’s name and a few paragraphs about what makes them special to Cochise County. Also, remember to attach a photo (in JPEG format). Stories submitted will be subject to review by the Cochise County Arizona Centennial Committee so please remember to include your name and the best way to contact you.
Below are ”Your Stories.” In 2013 they will be archived to The Arizona Memory Project website.
